Microchipping is a way to permanently identify your animal. A small chip is inserted underneath the animal’s skin and then registered with the local council for state wide identification. If your pet is lost in the local area and brought into the clinic or taken to the local council by a member of the public, we can return the animal to you with the aid of microchip identification.
Remember that if you change your address or phone number you should notify the vet clinic and the state wide registry with your new details. If you would like a hand with this please give one of our clinics a call.
